This summer, a rumor suggested the 3x telephoto camera on the GT5 Pro would be an OmniVision OV64B sensor. According to leakster Digital Chat Station, we will actually see three Sony sensors. It is also reported by the user that the screen will have 1.5K resolution, but this is a marketing term Chinese companies misunderstand to refer to 1220p displays.
Previous leaks suggested a periscope telephoto camera, but it appears to have been replaced with the main IMX966 camera, alongside the IMX581 for ultra-wide shots and the IMX890 for telephoto. It is expected that all of these sensors will have 50 megapixels.
Realme GT5 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It will feature a 6.82-inch OLED curved-edge display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate supplied by BOE. There is a chance that the device will run on Android 14 with Realme UI 5, and a chassis with IP certification is also expected.
Furthermore, it features up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected that the 5,400mAh battery will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Although its features stir interest, its speculated price in China is around 4,000 Yuan (Rs.45,500/-), making it a potentially competitive offering.
