Redmi is expected to announce its K70 series of smartphones before the end of the year. The brand has confirmed that the Redmi K70 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Redmi launched the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro last year with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. According to reports, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Gen 3 chipsets.
As per the source, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will debut in China in December. According to Redmi, the Redmi K70 series will be available in January in China even though it became official in December.
In addition to the Redmi K60 and K60 smartphones, Redmi also announced the Dimensity 8200 chipset-powered Redmi K60e. Despite this, there have been no concrete details revealed about the K70e.
Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have already been approved by 3C in China. According to 3C certifications, the standard model will support 90W charging, while the pro model will support 120W charging. According to recent reports, the K70 duo may not support wireless charging, unlike its predecessors.
