The iQOO 12 series is rumored to launch on November 7, and we’ve already seen a purported hands-on image of the vanilla model.
Here are some exclusive details about the iQOO 12 that we are very excited to share with you. It is indeed scheduled for a November 7 launch in China, with a worldwide release planned for later in the year.
Additionally, iQOO 12 is confirmed to be India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone. So its India launch could coincide with its China debut. Regardless, we should know more about iQOO 12’s India launch date soon.
Premium Gaming flagship:
As expected, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s just-unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The phone will however be the first to use the new SoC in a gaming environment.
As with Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro, the iQOO 12 will use a dedicated display processor with hardware-accelerated ray tracing to enhance gaming graphics. The result should be a huge leap in the immersion of mobile games by enabling ultra-realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows.
PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State, Genshin Impact, and LoL Mobile will all run at 144fps with frame interpolation on the iQOO 12. There will be even more surprises in store – this isn’t the complete list. Game developers set a native frame rate cap that the phone will surpass so that gamers can experience true high frame rate gaming.
In the past few years, iQOO has collaborated with BMW M Motorsport, and this won’t change with the iQOO 12. A “Legend Edition Inspired by BMW M Motorsport” will also be available. On the rear, you can expect the usual BMW M stripes as well as custom themes.
Stay tuned as we try to find out even more details about iQOO 12, one of the most interesting releases of the next few weeks.
