As per a post on Weibo, Peter Lau explained that upcoming OnePlus 5T will not come with wireless charging but will have support for fast charging which is none other than Dash charging.He further said that the wireless charging coils will further increase the device thickness and also the technology is still under starting phase so that we can add the feature to every other flagship smartphone.He also explained that with the support of Dash charging one can easily charge the device faster than wireless charging which is slower. So this is the reason behind not including the wireless charging tech on OnePlus 5T.He also claimed that OnePlus 5T will come with 3.5 mm audio jack.
As per earlier leaks, the OnePlus 5T is rumored to have a similar design as Oppo R11s which was launched this week.It is rumored to have 6 inches FHD+ bezel-less AMOLED display having an aspect ratio of 18:9.It is powered by same SD835 chip coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage option.
