Tipster Digital Chat Station says the OnePlus 15T is set to launch in early Q2 in China, mirroring last year’s April debut of the OnePlus 13T. There’s still no clarity on whether or how widely it will roll out to other markets.

Previously, OnePlus skipped the 13T in India and instead released the almost identical OnePlus 13s. The main changes were a smaller 5,850mAh battery compared to the 13 T’s 6,260mAh, and a lower-specced selfie camera on the 13T (16MP/1080p vs the 13s’ 32MP/4K). Otherwise, both phones shared a 6.32-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and dual 50MP rear cameras.

For the OnePlus 15T, battery capacity is the headline upgrade. Rumours point to a 7,000mAh cell, with OnePlus reportedly aiming as high as 7,500mAh. A split between China and India models—similar to the 13T/13s—could again show up in battery size or other details.

The 15T is expected to feature a flat 6.3-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a faster 165Hz refresh rate, up from 120Hz on last year’s LTPO panel. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader is also said to replace the older optical solution.

Under the hood, the phone should run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, rather than a toned-down non-Elite chip. The body is rumoured to carry IP68 dust and water resistance, and OnePlus is said to be planning another magnetic snap-on case. As with the 13T/13s series, this accessory is primarily for attachment, not for wireless charging.

Camera changes appear modest so far. Leaks suggest the telephoto camera will keep the 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor from the previous model. There’s no firm information yet on the main camera, and no indication of a third rear camera being added.
