Vivo T2 Pro 5G launched in India features 64MP dual cameras with OIS support.

In the Indian market, Vivo has just announced the new Vivo T2 Pro 5G model. It is part of the company’s T series of mid-range smartphones. Here are all the specs and pricing details for this device targeted at the youth.

Vivo T2 Pro:

 

The new Vivo T2 Pro 5G will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates. It has a curved screen and a center-aligned punch hole. The screen comes with 1300 nits of peak brightness & 1.07 billion colors.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G is powered by Dimensity 7020 SoC coupled with 8GB LPDDRX4 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage space. It features a 64MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture & OIS coupled with a 2MP Bokeh sensor on the back. On the front, the smartphone ships with a 16MP selfie shooter.

 

There will be a variety of modes included in the rear camera setup, including Sports, Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, 64MP, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Pro, Live Photo, Supermoon, Document, and Dual-View Video.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It measures 7.36mm thick and weighs 175g.

It packs a 4600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 178g. The device also features in-display fingerprint support.

Pricing:

Vivo T2 Pro is available in two colors, New Moon Black and Dune Gold. The 8GB + 128GB model starts at 23,999 INR, while the 8GB + 256GB configuration costs 24,999 INR. Starting 29th September 2023, the smartphone will be available on Flipkart and the company’s official website. ICICI Bank and Axis Bank Credit card holders get a 2,000 INR instant discount as well as a flat 1,000 INR exchange discount.

Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G featuring The Planet cover display & 64MP dual cameras launched in India.

For several weeks, Tecno has been teasing its first flip phone, called the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G. While this phone is aimed at the middle price range, it still has many of the features of a really expensive folding phone.

In terms of design, the brand draws inspiration from space, featuring a circular cover screen called “The Planet,” and an integrated camera module depicting an “Asteroid Belt.” To enhance the luxury feel, the brand used lychee-pattern classic leather (vegan leather) on the back.

Specs:

It has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466. With a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 1000 nits peak brightness, and up to 120Hz refresh rate, the phone has a 6.9-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) flexible LTPO AMOLED display. Despite 200,000 folds, the brand claims the display will remain virtually crease-free.

It will feature the volume rocker and the power button on the right side. The power button has a fingerprint sensor. When folded, the smartphone measures 88.77 x 74.05 x 14.95mm, while unfolded, it measures 171.72 x 74.05 x 6.95mm.

With its 64MP (primary) and 13MP (ultra-wide) cameras, it stands out from the crowd. Realme GT5 Pro teaser out going to soon launch in Global regions.

Realme launched the vanilla Realme GT5 smartphone in China in August 2023. The GT Neo 6 was originally expected to launch under that name. In the past, Realme teased the launch of the device in global markets. Realme’s Global X account has begun teasing the launch of the Realme GT5 Pro.

There is a hint in the teaser that the device will launch soon in global markets. By the end of 2023, Realme plans to launch the smartphone. The complete specifications of the device were also tipped by popular tipster Digital Chat Station. Several details regarding the upcoming Realme GT5 Pro smartphone have been shared by the tipster.

According to Realme’s global X account, the upcoming device will feature a periscope lens. In the teaser, the caption “Not only Max can zoom” pokes fun at the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is the first Apple smartphone with a periscope lens.

Realme teased its impending launch with the message “The light will shine on realme, just wait.”. Possibly after Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC launch at Qualcomm Tech Summit. In addition to the Realme GT5 Pro smartphone, another Realme smartphone will be equipped with a periscope lens.

Samsung has already begun teasing the Galaxy S23 FE’s arrival in India. An official website in Argentina has spotted the company’s first-ever Fan Edition Galaxy Buds. The South Korean brand is gearing up for more than two FE devices. Two Galaxy Tab FE models are also included. In July, the Tab S9 lineup was introduced. Leaked marketing images reveal the Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE & Galaxy Tab S9 FE+:

A new leak has been released by Winfuture. Here’s a better look at the new FE tablets from the marketing images. Except for one noticeable difference, the latest development is largely in line with the initial CAD-based renders.

Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ feature metal unibodies. In comparison to the latter, the former appears smaller. Both devices have asymmetrical front bezels. According to marketing renders, the S-Pen will be magnetically attached to the right edge of the tablets. The back panel does not have a vertical strip below the camera sensor. In the S9 FE, there is only one circular camera while in the Plus model, there are two cameras. LED flash units are absent from both.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE will have a 10.9-inch display, while the FE+ is expected to have a 12.4-inch display. Both are expected to be powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC on the inside. In the FE model, there is expected to be up to 8GB RAM, while in the FE+, there is expected to be 12GB RAM, and both will have up to 256GB of storage.

Moreover, the Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ are expected to start at EUR 529 (Rs.46,800/-) and EUR 699 (Rs.61,800/-), respectively, according to the new report. The device will also be available in a 5G version for EUR 100 (Rs.8900/-) more.

Samsung Galaxy Buds FE has an in-ear design with shark fins for a more secure fit. There are two sets of wingtips and three sets of ear tips included with the earbuds. Graphite and Mystic White are the colors available for TWS earphones. By tapping on the touch surface, users can control various functions.

With a battery capacity of 479mAh, each Samsung Galaxy Bud FE earbud is backed up by a 60mAh cell. The Galaxy Buds FE has a battery life claim of 60 hours.

Samsung’s much-awaited Galaxy A55 specs leaked, likely to feature AMD GPU.

Samsung’s upcoming midranger, the Galaxy A55, is pretty scarcely known, so GalaxyClub’s most recent findings set the stage for upcoming speculation. Samsung should release the A55 around March next year if it sticks to its schedule. The publication uncovered the handset’s SoC and main camera specifications.

Samsung is reportedly testing the Galaxy A55 with a SoC with model number S5E8845, which we believe to be the still-unannounced Exynos 1480. The S5E8835 and S5E8825 model numbers are assigned to the Exynos 1380 and 1280, respectively. Galaxy A54 and A53 are powered by these chipsets.

It’s interesting to note that the Exynos 1480 SoC may offer an AMD GPU. According to a recent rumor, Samsung and AMD are collaborating to improve image processing and AI performance using AMD graphics. However, this report is still unconfirmed.

Amazfit introduces premium Amazfit Cheetah series with six satellite systems support & Built-in AI Running Coach in India.

Smartwatches from the Amazfit Cheetah series have been launched in India today. There are two different dial shapes available for the newly unveiled Cheetah series wearables. The Amazfit Cheetah Round features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a brightness rating of 1,000 nits and a pixel density of 326 PPI. Amazfit Cheetah Square has a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a pixel density of 341 PPI. Besides supporting six satellite systems, these new smartwatches also have Zepp Coach, an AI-powered running coach that creates customized training plans for each individual.

The Amazfit Cheetah Round comes with a 1.39-inch HD AMOLED display with a 454×454 resolution and a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. Even in the brightest outdoor conditions, this model’s display can reach 1,000 nits. On the other hand, the Cheetah Square has a 1.75-inch HD AMOLED display with a 341 PPI pixel density. There are over 150 sports modes on both of these wearables.

Additionally, the Cheetah series includes MaxTrack GPS technology that uses circularly polarized GPS antennas to pick up nearly 100% of satellite signals. The Cheetah series wearables also offer an AI-powered running coach called Zepp Coach, which can provide customized training plans based on the user’s unique traits and goals.

These smartwatches run Zepp OS 2.0 and can sync with popular apps like Strava, Relive, and Adidas Running through the Zepp App. The two smartwatches can monitor heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and stress levels. In terms of battery life, the Amazfit Cheetah Round can last for 14 days on a single charge, while the Cheetah Square can last for 7 days.

Pricing:

In India, the Amazfit Cheetah series costs Rs 20,000. These smartwatches are both grey in color. In India, Helios and Just In Time stores will carry the Amazfit Cheetah Round and Amazfit Cheetah Square smartwatches starting September 24.

Micromax is making comeback currently working on new mid-range smartphone, details leaked.

Micromax IN Mobile

Several rumors circulated that Micromax was leaving the smartphone market since it hadn’t released a new smartphone in a while. These rumors, however, are untrue. A new smartphone is being explored by Micromax.

According to sources familiar with the development, “Micromax is still working on launching a new smartphone.”. Expect it to cost around Rs 15,000.”

There are no specific details about the smartphone, but we can confirm that it will be powered by Mediatek chipsets. For the past couple of months, Micromax has been in discussions with both Mediatek and Qualcomm about procuring chipsets for its new phone.

Qualcomm raised a red flag about Micromax’s past track record of late payments, which prevented the deal from going through.

Micromax originally planned to launch a phone in December, but since it hasn’t ordered the chipset, it might launch somewhere around February or March next year, according to our sources.

Due to the Chinese New Year celebration in January, the market is closed. It will be difficult to procure components due to this.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S23 FE will boot Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5.1.1. The smartphone will receive four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.

Amazon launches the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Fire TV Soundbar, Echo Hub, Echo Frames, & More

In the Indian market, Amazon has just launched a bunch of new products. Among the latest announcements are the Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Soundbar, and Echo Show 8.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is one of the most notable announcements. It is the first model to feature the company’s Fire TV ambient experience, and it is powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core processor. Additionally, it is the first streaming stick to support Wi-Fi 6E. For a more immersive experience, it outputs 4K UHD resolution content. It supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10+. The device has 16GB of storage under the hood.

Amazon Fire TV Soundbar:

Amazon recently announced the Fire TV Soundbar. There is a two-channel companion device included with this model. With support for Dolby Audio and DTX Virtual: X, the new soundbar has a 24-inch design and can be paired with a smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.

The Fire TV Soundbar costs $119.99 (Rs.9999/-) in the US. No word about Indian pricing or availability.

Echo Show 8:

With the new Echo Show 8, you’ll get a refreshed design and improved performance. The device features a glass front and a 40 percent faster processor. Amazon claims improved audio clarity and better bass, while the front houses a 13-megapixel camera. Zigbee, Sidewalk, Thread, Bluetooth, and Matter are also supported.

The Echo Show 8 costs $149.99 (Rs.12499/-) in the US. No word about Indian pricing or availability.

New Echo series devices were unveiled by Amazon. With the Echo Show 8 Photos Edition, users can display their personal pictures as the primary screen content, which rotates every 30 seconds. You can even get 25GB of Amazon Photos storage, which offers additional storage space. Furthermore, the Echo Hub has an 8-inch display that can be switched between a clock and a smart home control screen, making it the brand’s latest smart home control panel.

Echo Frames

Last but not least, we have the Echo Frames. Alexa is also supported by these glasses. There are five variants to choose from, including sunglasses, prescription-ready lenses, and blue light lenses. Designed to be lightweight, these wearables have improved battery life, audio quality, and speech recognition. Additionally, Amazon announced the Carrera Smart Glasses, which combine fashion and technology. With Alexa functionality, it features the iconic Carrera fashion.

Motorola introduces new Moto Edge 40 Neo in India, comes with really aggressive pricing.

The Morotola Edge 40 Neo was unveiled last week for the EMEA market. Today, the company announced the smartphone for India.

It is a toned-down version of Edge 40 from earlier this year. It lacks wireless charging support and has a less powerful chip. It does, however, have a larger battery.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo:

The new Motorola Edge 40 Neo will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.

The device is powered by the new Dimensity 1050 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 170g.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS.  This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.

All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support.  It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.

As part of the Edge 40 Neo’s bundled protective case, Lenovo has partnered with a good company. The product is 100% biodegradable and made from plants. To avoid wastage, Agood will repurpose the old case into something new when it’s time to replace it.

Pricing:

In India, Motorola Edge 40 Neo is available in two memory configurations. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo with 8GB+128GB will cost Rs.23999/- whereas the 12GB+256GB at Rs.25999/- in India. For a limited time, both variants will be discounted by 3,000. Therefore, the prices come down to ₹20,999 and ₹22,999.

There are three color options available for the phone: Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea. On September 28, it will be available for purchase starting at 7 PM IST.
