Apple iPad Mini 7 might not get any major upgrade, details leaked.

We haven’t had new iPads for a while. Apple may soon break the silence with the iPad Mini 7. The device is expected to be unveiled later this year or early next year. We are patiently awaiting the launch, but a noted tipster has bad news. There will be no 120Hz ProMotion display on the upcoming iPad Mini.

Apple’s iPad mini 7 doesn’t have a 120Hz display, and only its A-series processor is expected to be upgraded, according to @Tech_Reve. ProMotion was widely rumored to be adopted with Apple’s next iPad Mini model due to display issues with the iPad Mini 6. Apple’s iPad Mini 6 has been plagued by a “jelly scrolling” phenomenon, where text or images on one side of the screen appear tilted downwards (via MacRumors).

In terms of specifications, the new iPad Mini may not bring many significant improvements. With its Liquid Retina display and A15 Bionic processor, the iPad Mini 6 was released in 2021. Apple’s iPad Mini 7 is expected to use the A16 Bionic chip. New iPads are expected to launch soon, although there is no specific date.

The iPad Mini 7 might feature minor specification improvements. Apple could upgrade the front and rear cameras on the iPad, potentially introducing new features such as the Photonic Engine. This is just a speculation, however. More details are expected in the coming days.

Xiaomi will ditch the MIUI 15 for all-new MiOS which will be based on Android 14.

With the release of Android 14, smartphone manufacturers are already working on their next-generation UIs. It’s expected that Xiaomi will unveil MIUI 15 in the coming months. A reliable tipster has revealed that Xiaomi plans to skip MIUI 15 altogether and launch a brand new operating system called MiOS instead.

Xiaomi is considering MIUI 14 as the “last major version” of the MIUI series, according to the tipster Digital Chat Station. It is instead developing a completely new OS from scratch.

Digital Chat Station reported a few months back that Xiaomi was developing its own operating system that would be compatible with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and could run on smartphones, tablets, and wearables. MiOS is likely to be the rumored OS.

Also in the Weibo post, he expressed his hopes for Xiaomi’s new system, saying that “MIUI 14’s basic experience is already top-notch, but the dynamic effects are still lacking.”. May the new work completely eliminate this shortcoming! ” Furthermore, he clarified that MIUI 15 would not be renamed MiOS.

Xiaomi also registered “mios.cn” in November 2022, suggesting that a new interface might be in the works. The website currently shows a 403 error and doesn’t have an SSL certificate.

Whether or when MiOS will emerge is yet to be seen, but one leak after another suggests Xiaomi is planning major changes to its software ecosystem. Please stay tuned for updates.

iQOO 12 camera details leaked will arrive with 64MP telephoto lens.

Vivo is gearing up for a double launch this November, with the highly anticipated X100 Series and the iQOO 12 Series. Today’s focus is on iQOO 12 Series camera specifications, which have already been spotted.

Vivo’s iQOO 12 phone is rumored to have a 64 MP telephoto camera, and today a reliable leakster confirmed that – we’re looking at an OmniVision 64B sensor with a 3x telephoto lens.

Besides having an OmniVision sensor – OV50H with 50 MP resolution and OIS, the ultrawide-angle camera will have a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with 50 MP resolution.

The early leaks from Digital Chat Station are usually accurate, and we believe this one is as well. It has been six generations since an iQOO 5 Pro 5G with an 8 MP telephoto camera and 5x optical zoom was introduced with a periscope lens. Vivo is still not ready to reintroduce an iQOO with a periscope lens yet.

However, adding a 64 MP camera with OIS (a feature surprisingly missing from the predecessor iQOO 11 Pro) is a big step forward. iQOO was originally designed for gamers, but has evolved into a power user brand. The new installment series should finally enable a flagship camera experience for those with the new vivo V3 ISP.

OnePlus officially starts teasing the first foldable aka OnePlus Open, launching soon in India.

While Oppo and Vivo have launched foldable phones, OnePlus has yet to do so. Today, we get an official teaser for what is supposed to be called the OnePlus Open. Despite not revealing a launch date, the teaser could suggest a launch later this month.

OnePlus teased an upcoming smartphone on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: ‘A true OnePlus experience awaits Opening soon.’ It appears to be a foldable phone, and the wordplay in the caption suggests that the phone will be called OnePlus Open.

OnePlus’ upcoming foldable phone is rumored to be an Oppo Find N3 Fold rebranded. Anushka Sharma was pictured using a device that matches previous renders of the Find N3 Fold, as well as a recent Geekbench listing. Although Oppo’s book-style foldables are pretty good, they are not available outside China.

Specs:

According to the leak, the Find N3 will feature an internal screen measuring 7.82 inches and with a resolution of 2268 x 2440 pixels. It’s a nice upgrade over the Find N2’s 7.1-inch display. Also, the cover screen will be larger, measuring 6.31 inches rather than 5.54 inches. The resolution will be 2484 x 1116 pixels. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, both the cover and main screens will use OLED panels.

Additionally, Digital Chat Station revealed some details about the device’s camera. It is rumored that the Find N3 will come with a triple-lens rear camera system with a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, there will be a 32MP and 20MP sensor for selfies.

Moreover, a dual-layer stacked Sony camera sensor was mentioned in a previous report. This technology separates the transistor and photodiode layers with a two-layer design. Even in challenging lighting conditions, larger photodiodes can capture more light and reduce noise.

With 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, the Find N3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The device will be powered by a 4805mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.

In addition to a USB-C port, there are stereo speakers on the bottom of the device. The phone also has an earpiece and an ultrawide-band antenna on its top.

Google’s codenamed ‘Akita’ phone appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench earlier this year. It was expected to be the Pixel 8a. According to the listing, the phone is powered by the Tensor G3 SoC with 8GB RAM and Android 14 OS.

MediaTek flagship Dimensity 9300 SoC detailed specs leaked online, first chipset to arrive with 8 CPU performance cores

MediaTek is expected to launch its highly anticipated MediaTek Dimensity 9300 flagship processor on 26 October 2023, just before Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is released. MediaTek Dimensity 9300’s CPU clock speeds, structure, and GPU are much better than we initially expected, according to a reputable leaker.

According to popular leakster, Digital Chat Station on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is the first octa-core CPU processor with 8 CPU performance cores and no CPU efficiency cores in an Android smartphone. The core structure appears to be 1+3+4 with 1 ARM Cortex X4 Prime core, 3 ARM Cortex X4 cores, and 4 ARM Cortex A720 cores.

According to the Weibo post, the CPU clock speed is expected to break 3.25 GHz, and the GPU is the latest ARM Immortalis G720 MC12 GPU for mobile processors. MediaTek Dimensity 9300 also surpassed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in Antutu v10 benchmark scores, both in CPU and GPU. In terms of the power efficiency of the Dimensity 9300, Digital Chat Station says he is keeping his mouth shut until MediaTek’s flagship SoC is officially launched this month.

As previously confirmed, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 is manufactured on TSMC’s N4P process, a 4 nm node offering significant performance and power efficiency improvements over the N5 and N4 processes. Also, Dimensity 9300’s Cortex-X4 cores are predicted to improve performance by 15% and reduce power consumption by 40%. Energy efficiency is expected to increase by 20% with the Cortex-A720 cores.

Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC spotted on Antutu, comes with powerful GPU.

It is expected that Qualcomm will announce its next-generation flagship mobile chipset later this month, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The new chip is expected to outperform its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, by a significant margin, according to a new leak.

The AnTuTu benchmark test for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has been leaked by popular tipster Digital Chat Station. Compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the new chip has scored 2 million points, according to the tipster.

According to the AnTuTu GPU test, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 offers a 40% performance improvement over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In the GPU test, it scored 840k versus 600K in the 8 Gen 2.

This significant performance boost is likely due to the new Adreno 750 GPU in Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In upcoming flagship smartphones, we can expect to see even better gaming performance, which is good news for mobile gamers.

GPU performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is impressive, but CPU performance isn’t. According to the tipster, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 440K points in the CPU test, which is only 15.7% higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This is just an early benchmark, and the final performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 could differ. DCS also notes that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 tested in the benchmark uses LPDDR5T RAM, a faster and more efficient type of RAM than LPDDR5X.

It is unclear whether commercial smartphones will ship with LPDDR5T or LPDDR5X RAM. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 could have slightly lower performance in real-world use if it ships with LPDDR5X RAM.
