ProMotion was widely rumored to be adopted with Apple’s next iPad Mini model due to display issues with the iPad Mini 6. Apple’s iPad Mini 6 has been plagued by a “jelly scrolling” phenomenon, where text or images on one side of the screen appear tilted downwards (via MacRumors).
In terms of specifications, the new iPad Mini may not bring many significant improvements. With its Liquid Retina display and A15 Bionic processor, the iPad Mini 6 was released in 2021. Apple’s iPad Mini 7 is expected to use the A16 Bionic chip. New iPads are expected to launch soon, although there is no specific date.
