One big yet expected feature of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is confirmed by the leaked image: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is expected that the Xiaomi 14 series will be announced shortly after this chip is announced on October 24.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will retain the IP68 dust and water resistance rating of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Pro. It will also support Dolby Vision, Atmos, Hi-Res, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio.

Additionally, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to retain its predecessor’s 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. This time, Xiaomi will use Leica Summilux lenses, which should offer even better image quality. Alleged iQOO 12 series renders leaked ahead of the official launch, comes with huge camera module.

An image claiming to show the iQOO 12 appeared last week on China’s micro-blogging platform, Weibo. Due to the poor quality of the picture, it was difficult to discern the design of the smartphone. According to the image, the device featured a camera module shaped like a squircle, seemingly mounted on a white glass surface. In response, a Chinese tipster has now shared rendered images that were created from the leaked photo. Despite the fact that the images below are not official renders of the iQOO 12, they are rather artistic representations derived from the original leak.

A recent report claims that the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will be available in three colors: black, white, and red. According to the mock renders, one of the devices has a flat display, while the other has a curved screen. According to reports, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will feature these specific display designs.

The rear panels of both smartphones appear to be almost identical. There is a square-shaped camera module with rounded corners on the upper-left corner of the iQOO 12 series. A pill-shaped vertical LED flash rests on the right side of the camera module, which houses three cameras and VCS+ branding.

The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro smartphones will be unveiled in China on Nov. 7, according to a recent report. These devices will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. According to another report, the iQOO 12 is expected to debut in India in November, marking it as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone there.

Here is when the new Apple Mac finally going to launch.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple may release new Macs in October 2023. Gurman’s weekly newsletter noted that iMacs, 13-inch MacBook Pros, 14-inch MacBook Pros, and 16-inch MacBook Pros are in short supply, which could be a sign that new models are coming soon.

Apple’s earnings call is scheduled for November 2, and the company traditionally holds a product launch event in October before its earnings call. On October 30 or 31, Apple might announce new Macs, he suggests.

The iMac is due for an update, but Apple has not yet revealed what new Macs it will release. There is a possibility that Apple will release a new 24-inch iMac with the M2 chip in 2022. The current 24-inch iMac was launched with the M1 chip in 2021.

In January 2023, Apple released new MacBook Pro models with the M2 chip. Apple probably won’t release new MacBook Pros any time soon, but it might release updated models with minor improvements.

Additionally, Gurman revealed that the next-generation MacBook Air models with M3 chips will not launch until early 2024, and a larger “pro” model of the iMac with a 32-inch display is planned for the end of 2024 or early 2025.

In general, it appears that Apple has at least one more product launch scheduled for 2023. Depending on the Macs Apple announces, Mac fans are sure to be thrilled with the news.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A55 chip Exynos 1480 will indeed feature AMD GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is rumored to be the company’s next midrange phablet. GalaxyClub recently revealed the specifications of this upcoming handset. According to the publication, the Galaxy A55 will be equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a Qualcomm Exynos 1480 processor. Samsung is also testing the S5E8845 chipset internally, according to GalaxyClub. The Exynos 1480 SoC has been spotted at Geekbench by MySmartPrice.

According to Geekbench, the upcoming Exynos 1480 chipset has the model number S5E8845. According to the listing, the Exynos 1480 will have four efficiency cores clocked at 2.05GHz and four performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz. Its base frequency is 2.05GHz, according to the listing. Also revealed by the benchmark test is that Samsung’s Xclipse 530 GPU will be paired with the Exynos 1480 chipset, utilizing AMD’s RDNA 2 graphics architecture similar to the Exynos 2200s.

In the single-core and multi-core tests, the SoC managed to score 882 and 2808 points, respectively. It’s possible, however, that in the coming weeks, the company will officially reveal this new SoC after it’s spotted on Geekbench. The Exynos 1480 will be used in the Galaxy A55, which is expected to debut next year.

Apple working on new foldable iPad, here is when its launching.

According to DigiTimes, Apple’s foldable iPad is now in “intensive development” and may be announced as early as 2024.

DigiTimes reported that Apple is now working with suppliers on foldable ‌iPad‌ development, ahead of small-scale production scheduled for the end of 2024. If progress remains steady, Apple could announce the device in late 2024 or early 2025, according to the Taiwanese publication.

Since Apple started developing foldable products four years ago, it has continually made design changes, planning to release a foldable ‌iPad‌ before working on a foldable iPhone. Because the iPad represents a relatively small portion of Apple’s sales, potential issues are easier to manage.

According to reports, the design of the foldable iPad has not yet been finalized‌. To reduce costs, Apple’s procurement department is now said to be leading the project instead of its product design team. At this stage, Apple’s main objective is to achieve a more cost-effective design, motivating contentious changes.

The device’s panel and hinges are said to be a major problem, with Apple particularly concerned about display creasing. Samsung and LG are purportedly being sought to provide a display with mechanical design solutions to mitigate creasing. The device’s hinge seems to be in sufficient supply, but Apple still seeks a more cost-effective and mass-producible design, which may require further simplification and reduction in the number of parts.
