In June, Vivo launched its X Fold5 handset, which was released in July, and today rumor has surfaced about its upcoming successor, the X Fold6. It is expected to be unveiled in the second quarter of next year, between April and June.

A 200MP camera sensor is allegedly on the way, but it’s unclear whether it will be used for the primary camera or the telephoto lens. As with the X Fold5, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC is said to power the phone, continuing the trend of Qualcomm not choosing its best-performing chipset, but the one just below it – it was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

There will also be a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button on the X Fold6. Currently, these are all the details we know about the X Fold6, but we expect to learn more in the coming weeks and months.
