Logitech has launched the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 wireless keyboard in India. It relies on Logi LightCharge technology to draw power from both sunlight and indoor lighting, enabling it to operate without manual charging. In September, the product was launched globally.

To enable solar charging, Logitech uses a light-absorbent strip and a long-lasting battery. Batteries can store power for up to four months in complete darkness, according to the company. The keyboard has a 10-year battery lifespan. The keyboard uses at least 70% post-consumer recycled plastic, while the aluminium inner plate is made using renewable energy, according to Logitech.

With Easy-Switch keys, the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 supports multi-device connectivity. Up to three devices can be paired with it across Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, iPad OS, iOS, Android, and Linux. With Logi Options+, the keyboard connects wirelessly using Bluetooth Low Energy.

With Logitech’s companion software, users can customise shortcuts, assign Smart Actions, and remap keys. Unlike the Mac version, it has an AI Launch Key that provides quick access to tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. With a full-size layout, a number pad, and scissor-switch keys, you can type like you are on a laptop.

It measures 430.8 x 142.9 x 20.2 mm and weighs 700 grams. As far as Logitech is concerned, it supports up to 10 million keystrokes and maintains a quiet typing experience. You can seamlessly switch between devices using the keyboard and Logitech Flow-enabled mice.

Pricing:

Logitech’s Signature Slim Solar+ K980 sells for Rs.12,295 on its official website. It is available at a discounted price of ₹10,995 on Amazon.in for a limited time. Graphite is the only finish available for the keyboard.
