OnePlus rolled out its current flagship, the OnePlus 15, in October of last year. Its successor is still some distance away, but early leaks about the OnePlus 16 are already appearing online. The latest report focuses on one key area: battery capacity.
According to a well-known tipster, the OnePlus 16 is expected to feature a hefty 9,000 mAh battery. For comparison, the current OnePlus 15 features a 7,300 mAh cell that supports 120W fast charging.
Earlier this month, OnePlus introduced the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V, both featuring the same massive 9,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging. Given this, it seems quite plausible that the upcoming OnePlus 16 could use an identical battery setup.
The OnePlus 16 is rumoured to debut in China in October. It’s also tipped to feature a 200MP main rear camera and a display with the highest refresh rate ever seen on a smartphone.
