Vivo is gearing up to expand its cutting-edge X300 series with the much-anticipated X300 Ultra, expected to debut next year. Building on the momentum of the already released X300 and X300 Pro, the Ultra model aims to elevate mobile photography to new heights.
Latest reports, courtesy of renowned tipster Digital Chat Station, reveal that the X300 Ultra will boast an impressive dual 200MP camera setup. The primary sensor will feature a classic 35mm focal length. At the same time, the periscope telephoto lens is said to be improved over its counterpart in the X200 Ultra. These upgrades highlight Vivo’s commitment to delivering superior photographic precision and versatility.
What’s truly notable is the ultrawide camera, tipped to feature a 50MP sensor with a massive 1/1.28-inch sensor size. This is a new benchmark for ultrawide cameras in the smartphone market. Such an expansive sensor is designed to capture even more detail, enhance low-light performance, and deliver stunningly broad perspectives.
Adding to the intrigue, leaks hint at an “advanced image enhancement feature.” At the same time, the specifics remain under wraps. The speculation suggests the inclusion of a dedicated image processing chip, building on Vivo’s tradition of innovative hardware-driven imaging solutions.
The selfie experience remains a priority; the X300 Ultra is rumoured to feature the same high-resolution 50MP front camera as the X300 Pro. Under the hood, users can expect flagship-level performance powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
