Vivo’s next camera-centric flagship, the X300 Ultra, has been appearing in more and more leaks lately. The latest information focuses on its rear camera system and suggests that the phone will feature not just one, but two 200MP cameras, backed by a new, larger multispectral sensor.

Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared fresh details about the X300 Ultra on Weibo. According to them, Vivo is targeting class-leading colour accuracy in both photos and videos by integrating a custom multispectral sensor into the camera setup.

The leak claims this sensor will be a 5MP unit with a relatively large physical size and more colour channels than typical implementations. Beyond more accurate colors, the multispectral sensor is expected to help the phone deliver more natural skin tones, improved white balance, better low-light performance, and stronger HDR results.

In terms of the main camera hardware, the vivo X300 Ultra is said to feature a 200MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, another 200MP periscope telephoto module, and a 50MP ultrawide camera using a larger sensor than in previous generations. Taken together, this suggests Vivo is positioning the X300 Ultra as a serious all-rounder for photography and videography.

The device is rumoured to make its global debut sometime in the first quarter of 2026, so we may not have to wait too long to see how these camera claims hold up in real-world use.
