Following the launch of the Vivo X300 series earlier this month, Vivo appears to be focusing on the upcoming Vivo S50 series. China is expected to debut the new S-series next month, according to reports. Key details for the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini have been leaked by a reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station, ahead of their expected launch.

The Vivo S50 series will have two models with different display sizes, according to DCS. According to the leak, the standard model will feature a 6.59-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution, a metal middle frame, and a periscope telephoto camera. There appears to be a notable upgrade in zoom photography with the telephoto unit featuring an impressive medium-sized sensor.

The Vivo S50 Pro Mini, meanwhile, will feature a 6.31-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution. It will have top-notch camera hardware since it is a Pro model. Both phones will have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

Apparently, the tipster suggested a flagship chipset capable of achieving a 3M AnTuTu score for the Vivo S50 Pro. Last year’s Vivo X200 series was powered by the Dimensity 9400, which could power this device.

According to the leak, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini could feature a triple-camera setup with a periscope camera. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor could be integrated into the screen for security.
