There’s still one member missing from Xiaomi’s 2026 flagship family—the 17 Ultra. It’s already launched the 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max.

Xiaomi skipped the number 16 to match Apple’s product naming scheme, so it’s unclear when the 15 Ultra will be officially announced. In China, some more details about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s cameras have been revealed.

Weibo’s Digital Chat Station reveals that the 17 Ultra will have a 50 MP primary camera with improved in-sensor zoom across a broader range of zoom levels, almost matched by the periscope zoom camera’s focal length.

In addition, this will be a new camera with 200 MP resolution, telephoto macro capabilities, and multi-focal lossless zoom. According to the same source, these two new cameras will also have a very high dynamic range.

According to a previous rumor, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra would have four cameras on the back, all of them boasting 50 MP resolution except for the periscope telephoto. Whether the 17 Ultra will borrow the 17 Pro and Pro Max’s rear screen is still unclear – perhaps not since it needs so much more space for its bigger cameras.
