Qualcomm will host its first global Edge AI Developer Hackathon at its Bengaluru campus from June 14 to 15, 2025.

With this event, Qualcomm aims to establish India as a key player in on-device AI innovation by supporting its growing developer community. Students, engineers, and young developers from across India are invited to participate in the hackathon.

Qualcomm describes the hackathon as a collaboration, learning, and innovation platform. During the 24-hour event, participants will receive expert guidance and access to the latest hardware. Sarvam AI is the model partner, while Microsoft is the global partner.

Teams will receive Snapdragon-powered ASUS laptops, be featured on Qualcomm’s developer blog, and participate in a live stream. The Popularisation Award includes the POCO F6 Deadpool Edition smartphone and digital exposure across Qualcomm’s platforms.

With more editions planned across India, Qualcomm hopes to nurture Indian edge AI talent, promote grassroots innovation, and provide a global platform for Indian developers.
