Nearing the end of the year, brands are preparing to launch their next-generation flagship smartphones. In recent weeks, there have been a number of leaks and rumors surfacing regarding the Vivo X90 and iQOO 11 series of flagship smartphones.
Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, shared the news on his Weibo account. The tipster shared details regarding the next generation of Vivo V2 ISP chipset on social media. This chip is essentially the successor to the one that the Chinese brand used in its previous generation of flagship smartphones.
The Vivo X90 series and even the iQOO 11 series will likely feature the V2 ISP next year. Due to chip supply issues still affecting the industry’s supply chains, the launch conference’s schedule is likely to be altered due to chip supply issues. Additionally, it’s unclear whether Vivo or iQOO will unveil their flagship smartphones first.
Last year, the company released its last ISP chip with the V1+ processor. As a result, 3D real-time stereoscopic night scene noise reduction, MEMC frame insertion, and AI super division were implemented in the hardware. The new chips are expected to bring new features and even improve on existing ones.
