The latest SD636 will support the latest trend with 18:9 aspect ratio display with a resolution up to FHD+.SD636 is coupled with 509 GPU which boost the GPU performance by 10% which is slightly more when compared to the predecessor.It also comes with Qualcomm TruePalette and EcoPix features which are integrated into Adreno Visual Processing Subsystem which will help to provide a better viewing experience.
The latest SD636 chip is built on the 14nm FinFET process which is similar to predecessor like SD660 and SD630 which is also based on same 14nm node.With SD636 the manufacturers using earlier launched SD630 and SD660 can easily switch to latest SD636 without any modification.It comes with Qualcomm X12 LTE modem which has peak download speeds up to 600 Mbps.
It comes with 14-bit Qualcomm Spectra 160 ISP and will support cameras up to 24MP with zero shutter lag.The camera will also support fast AF, better zoom and True to life colors for better image quality.It also comes with support for Hi-Fi Audio with Qualcomm Aqstic audio codec and also includes 192kHz/24bit lossless Audio files.The Qualcomm SD636 will start shipping from next month and manufacturers might launch the devices by starting of 2018.
