OnePlus upcoming flagship OnePlus 12 will cost more than its predecessor

Before the official announcement of the OnePlus 12 later this year or in early 2024, several leaks and speculations are making the rounds online. As a result of a few upgrades, a tipster has suggested that the OnePlus 12 will be more expensive than the OnePlus 11.

According to Yogesh Brar, a tipster on X (formerly Twitter), the OnePlus 12 will have a higher price than its predecessor.

According to the tipster, the OnePlus 12 might have a BOE display similar to the OPPO Find X6 Pro. OnePlus devices have been plagued by green line problems in the past, but this display isn’t affected. Green line problems have been reported on screens from Samsung Display and Tianma.

It is believed that this, along with a larger battery and enhanced cameras, will increase the OnePlus 12’s price. In spite of this, the exact price of the upcoming smartphone was not revealed.

OnePlus 12:

Digital Chat Station, a popular tipster, recently revealed some details about the OnePlus 12 series’ engineering prototype. The leakster claims to have seen the flagship engineering model in production.

On the front of the device is a centered single-hole curved screen, and on the back is a large circular camera module with a metallic scale ring. In addition to substantial main and periscope lenses, the design includes a quad-camera system covering a variety of focal lengths.

Additionally, the prototype features a metal middle frame and a super-thin optical fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the device has a large X-axis motor and an efficient heat dissipation area, which keeps it cool during intense use.

Specs:

OnePlus’ upcoming phone will feature a 2K curved OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate developed using a new domestic substrate. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be used in the device and two RAM options are available: 16GB and 24GB.

OnePlus 12’s rear camera setup will include a 50MP IMX9xx main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP 3X periscope telephoto lens. The tipster had previously confirmed that Sony IMX9xx sensors would be used in the camera system, reinforcing its authenticity.

There is a 5400mAh battery inside the phone, which supports 100W wired fast charging. Wireless fast charging is also supported by the device, which promises 50W of power.

There are rumors that Apple will launch new iPad models in the near future. This week, Apple is expected to release brand-new iPads, iPad Airs, and iPad Minis. Here are all the details.

The news comes from a 9To5Mac report. According to sources close to the matter, Apple plans to release its new iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Mini tomorrow (17th October 2023). Therefore, the iPad Air may get the updated M2 chipset, while the iPad Mini and base iPad may get the A16 Bionic SoC. A new controller could also be installed on the screen to address the jelly scrolling issue on the current generation iPad Mini.
