In time forValentine’s Day this year, Google has launched a new feature on Google Photos to help you make it more special. Get creative and share your memories using themed movies, and share them with your loved ones, not just this Valentine’s Day but all year long.
Introducing create-your-own themed movies
Beginning today, you can turn your photos into themed movies via the Google Photos app or on the web, with nothing more than a few clicks. The themed movie creator brings together photos of a loved one or an important event, and expertly edits them together and sets it to music. You might have seen Google Photos automatically creating these movies for you before—but now, you have the ability to create one whenever you want. With a range of themes, from “They Grow Up So Fast” to the feline favourite “Meow Movie” it’s the perfect way to celebrate all your favourite people, furry friends, and treasured moments.
Making a themed movie is simple: just open the Google Photos app, go to the Assistant tab, and tap Movie to get started. You can also visit this link on the desktop. After you’ve chosen your theme and the people (or pets) who will star in the movie, you’re ready to go. Google Photos uses machine learning to select the best moments based on your choices, adds a fitting soundtrack, and produces a custom movie just for you. If you want to tweak the result, you can take a seat in the director’s chair and edit your movie with the movie editor in the iOS or Android app.
Share the love with your library
All year long, you can make it easy to share the moments that matter with the people that matter. That’s where shared libraries from Google Photos come in. This feature allows you to effortlessly and automatically send and receive photos with the important people in your life—like all of the pictures of your daughter with her grandparent or with your partner. To get started, tap the menu bar in the top left, then “Add partner account.” Exactly what you share is up to you, so you can share your whole library, or you can choose to share only photos of specific people, or from certain dates.
Still need to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit? Try searching your gallery for “hug,” “kiss,” or even to find a few photos that will melt your heart.

Ericsson announces today its installed base of radio products from the Ericsson Radio System portfolio will be able to run 5G New Radio (NR). This capability will be achieved through a remote software installation.
This applies to more than 150 different radio variants in Ericsson Radio System that are active in more than 190 networks around the world, meaning that Ericsson Radio System legacy radios from 2015 can support 5G NR. This 5G NR readiness also applies to Ericsson’s delivered micro radios in Ericsson Radio System and existing Radio Dot System products. In short, all Ericsson Radio System products are ready for 5G NR.
Fredrik Jejdling, Executive Vice President and Head of Business Area Networks, Ericsson, says: “We have a long history of strong backwards compatibility and our products and software are built for evolution – with Ericsson, there is no need to rip and replace. Investments in Ericsson Radio System since 2015 will continue to bring operators value when the time is right to transition to 5G.”
Daniel Staub, Head of Joint Mobile Group, Swisscom, says: “Today’s news means that we can launch 5G services more efficiently with our future-proofed Ericsson Radio System products – significantly boosting the long-term value of our network assets.”
Operators will have the possibility to run 4G and 5G in the same band with the same radio and the same baseband. It will also be possible to share the spectrum between 4G and 5G with side-by-side carriers in the same band, and even with overlapping carriers using so-called ‘Dynamic Spectrum Sharing’ functionality.
According to the latest Ericsson Mobility Report, total global mobile data traffic is expected to grow eight times, while 5G subscriptions are forecast to reach 1 billion by the end of 2023. This puts increasing demand on operators to continue to expand capacity cost efficiently while addressing their 5G evolution at the same time.
Qualcomm has recently announced the SD845 SoC for 2018 flagship devices and will soon get many devices powering the latest chip from Qualcomm.Earlier we had few rumours about Qualcomm planning to launch their next chipset built on the 7nm process and will be called the SD855. Today, we have new leaks which claim that Qualcomm will launch the next chip as SD850.
As per a report by PC Mag, Qualcomm is planning to launch a dedicated SoC for Windows connected devices with SD850 SoC later this year. The new SD850 will be a slightly improved version of SD845 chip and the term 50 stands for the recently launch Qualcomm X50 modem which supports 5G networks.
As AT&T suggested that they are planning to launch the 5G devices by end of 2018 but it will be 5G plug and play modem as there is no 5G enable smartphone available yet.Due to the size of the X50 modem, Qualcomm won’t able to put the modem on smartphone and will be targetting PC and tablets and also few laptops might feature the SD850 chip-enabled with 5G.
Qualcomm will finally launch the 5G enabled X50 modem on SD855 especially for smartphones by mid-2019.
Earlier we had got few rumours about Apple launching three new iPhone X like iPhones this year.Today we have a new rumour which states that all three iPhones will have the FaceID feature.
As per reports from ETNews, Apple is planning to bring the 3D face recognition feature the FaceID to all three new iPhones this year.According to reports, this time LG will be producing the TrueDepth Sensor for the 2018 iPhone lineup and for other parts Apple will rely on some Chinese companies instead of Sharp this year.
Apple will include the Face ID feature not only for the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Plus but also the rumoured low-cost LCD display iPhone 9.Apart from that, 2019 iPhones will now come with lesser notch size when compared with its predecessor.
As per Atherton Research, Apple 2019 line up of iPhones will have a smaller notch due to the smaller TrueDepth sensor which is currently under testing phase and will take time to implement it.
Apart from FaceID, Apple might also add the under-display fingerprint scanner feature on 2019 iPhones and will have faster unlock speeds. So still we are in 2018 and we already have rumours about the 2019 iPhones coming in.
