Xiaomi 17 Ultra may launch ahead of schedule by late December, according to leaks. Fresh details about the flagship’s imaging sensors have surfaced online, and it’s expected to deliver noteworthy camera upgrades.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography kit leaks reveal the upcoming phone will have triple rear cameras. This may seem like a step down from the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s quad-camera setup, but it might not be.

Dual telephoto cameras were available on the 15 Ultra. Xiaomi may remove the 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and replace it with an overall improved sensor, according to the leak.

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship could feature a 50MP OVX10500U sensor, a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KHPE telephoto unit, and a 50MP OV50M or 50MP S5KJN5 ultrawide camera. The phone could have a 50MP OV50M sensor for selfies.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and come with HyperOS 3.
