After debuting globally in December 2025, the Redmi Note 15 5G has now launched in India. It is being sold in the country alongside the Redmi Pad 2 Pro.

Redmi Note 15 5G:

Redmi Note 15 5G features a 6.77-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 10-bit colour depth & 3200 nits of peak brightness. The device features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC powers the Redmi Note 15 5G, paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB internal storage. On the rear, it features a 108MP primary sensor camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 20MP front camera.

It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Among its connectivity options are dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It is dust and splashproof with an IP65 rating. The device runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top.

Additionally, the device features a 5,520mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro:

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad 2 Pro features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display features a brightness of 600 nits and Dolby Vision support. In addition to Dolby Vision and DC dimming, the Pad 2 Pro series is TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified. The Matte Glass Version includes an AG nano-texture screen that reduces glare by up to 97%.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, fabricated by TSMC on a 4-nanometer scale. The device comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

The device features an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and an additional 8MP Front-Facing camera. The Pad 2 Pro 5G gets a 13MP rear camera. The device weighs 890 grams and measures 7.52 mm in thickness. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro features a massive 12,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers play back the audio. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top. The connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C 2.0.

In India, sales of the Redmi Note 15 5G will begin on January 9, with the phone offered in Black, Mist Purple, and Glacier Blue color variants, priced at INR 22,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and INR 24,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro will go on sale from January 12. It will be available in two finishes – Graphite Grey and Quick Silver – and is priced at INR 24,999 for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
