As Samsung’s servers have been spotted with the Galaxy A37 firmware, we know it’s working on the Galaxy A36. The firmware didn’t reveal any of the Galaxy A37’s features, but thanks to Geekbench, we know what processor it will have.

According to the benchmark database, the Samsung Galaxy A37, codenamed SM-A376B, will be powered by the Exynos 1480 processor. According to Geekbench, the unit running the test was running Android 16 and had 6GB of RAM onboard, but customers will likely have more options.

In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Samsung Galaxy A37 scored 1,158 and 3,401 points, respectively. The retail version is likely to perform a little better, but even now, it outperforms the Galaxy A36, which is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC and scored 1,007 and 2,917 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests.

To get a better idea of what the Samsung Galaxy A37 has to offer, we’ll have to wait for more details to surface.
