Despite Vivo’s plans to launch the X300 series in India next month, it appears the X200 family won’t be abandoned just yet. The GSMA IMEI database has quietly revealed a new device, believed to be the Vivo X200T.

As spotted by Smartprix, the listing shows a Vivo phone registered on November 17 with model number V2561. Furthermore, the listing confirms that the device is the Vivo X200T.

This is an interesting time. Why launch another X200 model now, when the X300 series is nearly here? The answer is still a mystery. According to the listing, Vivo could launch the X200T in global markets, including India.

While there are no confirmed specs yet, the “T” badge gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. There has always been a focus on raw speed in the T branding. Typically, these phones prioritise power and performance over camera features or ultra-premium features.

Vivo could launch the X200T as a more performance-focused sibling to the standard X200. That’s what we think, at least.
