In India, GoPro has launched three new products: the MAX2, LIT HERO, and Fluid Pro AI. The devices are designed to capture 360-degree video, record lifestyle videos, and stabilise videos using artificial intelligence. Originally introduced globally in September 2025, the lineup is now available in India.

GoPro MAX2: Professional 8K 360 Camera

Designed for creators who need high-quality 360-degree footage, the GoPro MAX2 provides high-quality video. In addition to True 8K, it supports 5.6K at 60 fps and 4K at 100 fps. The camera features Max HyperSmooth 360 stabilisation, AI-assisted editing, and cloud-based storage. GPS is also built in, making it the only 360-degree camera in its segment.

The MAX2 features a rugged body that is waterproof up to 5 meters. A twist-and-go lens replacement system, invisible mounting options, folding fingers, and 16 mounting points make this a versatile device. Despite the low temperatures, the 1960 mAh Enduro battery performs well. This camera measures 64 × 69.7 × 48.7 millimetres and weighs 195 grams.

It has a 1/2.3-inch sensor paired with an F1.8 lens with a focal length equivalent of 14–26 millimetres. Various video recording options are available, including 8K30, 5.6K60, and 4K100 in 360 mode, as well as 4K60 and 1080p60 in single lens mode. The device supports GP-Log, 8-bit and 10-bit colour, and a bitrate of up to 120 Mbps. You can capture 360-degree photos up to 29MP and single-lens images up to 12MP, with burst, night, and time-lapse modes. The aspect ratio of RAW photos is 4:3.

Using six microphones, the MAX2 captures 360-degree, stereo, and directional sound while minimising wind noise. Additionally, it supports wireless audio accessories. Among the connectivity options are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB-C 3.0. This camera supports 13 voice commands and operates between -10°C and 35°C.

With the LIT HERO, you can take your camera with you wherever you go. With 93 grams of weight and a built-in light, it can be used in a variety of situations. The camera records 4K video at 60 frames per second, supports 2x slow motion, and attaches magnetically for easy mounting. It is waterproof to 5 meters and powered by a 1255 mAh Enduro battery that can record 4K for over 100 minutes.

Camera measures 56.6 × 48.4 × 29.45 millimetres and features a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor with 12MP resolution, an F2.3 aperture, and a 15mm equivalent focal length. The camera records 4K 16:9 video at 60, 50, 30, and 25 frames per second, as well as 4K 4:3 video at 30 and 25 frames per second. The device supports 8-bit colour, a 60 Mbps bitrate, and H.265 and H.264 encoding. Users can extract 11MP stills from 4K footage, while photos are captured in 12MP JPG format.

It comes with two microphones, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C connectivity. LIT HERO features QuickCapture, voice control in 8 languages, and automatic cloud uploads. Temperatures range from -10°C to 35°C.

GoPro Fluid Pro AI:

Fluid Pro AI is a 3-axis gimbal designed for GoPro cameras, smartphones, and compact point-and-shoot cameras. With AI-based tracking, it automatically follows faces and bodies in the frame, while a built-in fill light ensures even lighting.

It offers up to 18 hours of battery life, 335-degree tilt and roll, and unlimited 360-degree pan rotation. While recording, it can also serve as a power bank. Using the GoPro Fluid app, users can control shutter, zoom, and focus remotely.

This device supports multiple cameras, comes with a limited lifetime warranty, and includes a tripod base, AI module, mounting brackets, USB-C cables, and a zippered case.
