Since the 2022 release of the Watch 3, Realme has been without a replacement. However, that will soon change if a fresh rumour is to be believed.
According to rumours, the renderings below show the upcoming Realme Watch 5. According to reports, the 1.97-inch rectangular AMOLED screen of the Realme Watch 5 has a peak brightness of 600 nit and a resolution of 390×450.
It will be equipped with a 460 mAh battery, billed as providing up to 14 days of use on a single charge or 20 days with the “Light Smart Mode” enabled. After five years of usage, Realme guarantees that the battery will still have at least 80% of its original capacity.
In addition to a compass, the watch will have GPS with GNSS, NFC, Bluetooth with “high-definition calling” and intercom capabilities, and an IP68 classification for water and dust protection. There will reportedly be a “game-specific mode” as well, but we’re not entirely clear what that would entail.
With straps that match, the Realme Watch 5 will be offered in black and silver. It will be introduced to international markets; however, it’s unclear if it will reach India.
