According to rumors, MediaTek’s next-generation flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9500, will be released sooner than planned to outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. We thus anticipate a launch in early to mid-September.
After it passed Geekbench, we now know the specifications of the purported Dimensity 9500. The chip will include three Alto cores operating at 3.03 GHz, four Gelas cores ticking at 2.23 GHz, and one Travis X930 main core clocked at 3.23 GHz. Graphics will be handled by the Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU, which runs at 1000 MHz.
The Geekbench data’s eight cores appear to match the April leak. Immoralis-Drage was believed to be the GPU, which is the sole difference.
Additionally, a prior study said that the new NPU will be far more potent and able to produce 100 TOPS.
Keep an eye out. In the upcoming weeks and months, the chipset will probably begin to appear on several benchmark databases.
