In China, MediaTek introduced its Dimensity 9400e processor, an enhanced version of last year’s Dimensity 9300+.

With 1 x 3.4GHz Cortex-X4 prime core, 3 x 2.85GHz Cortex-X4 performance cores, and 4 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A720 performance cores, the Dimensity 9400e adopts TSMC’s 4nm process technology.

The Immortalis-G720’s 12-core GPU supports hardware ray tracing. It also supports Star Speed Engine Adaptive Control 2.0 and Dimensity Frame Double Technology 2.0+.

With the Dimensity 9400e, you can run all the most popular large language models, including DeepSeek-R1-Distll and LLaVA-1.5 7B, end-to-end.

The first smartphones with the Dimensity 9400e chipset will be available this month. OnePlus will use it first. Realme’s Neo7 Turbo phone, which is scheduled to launch in May, will also use the chip.

The Dimensity 9400e includes an Imagiq 990 18-bit ISP, which uses AI semantic segmentation for better video processing. The microphone’s audio can also be reduced in noise.

The new Mediatek chip also supports 5G connectivity, with a maximum download speed of 7.3 Gbps. WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and NavIC are all available connectivity options.

OnePlus Ace5 Racing Edition:

The OnePlus Ace5 Racing Edition, which will launch next week in China, will be the first device to use the Dimensity 9400e.

When the OnePlus Ace5 Racing edition leaves the factory, it will come with the Fengchi gaming kernel, bringing a new gaming experience to the industry.

Only OnePlus’ “Fengchi Gaming Kernel” provides the industry’s highest average frame rate and the strongest 1% low frame rate! According to OnePlus, the Ace5 Racing Edition offers the best gaming performance under 2,500 yuan (USD 346 / Rs. 29,610 approx.).
