Following Samsung’s announcement of its quarterly earnings for Q1 2025 earlier today, the company held a conference call for analysts. Sales of the Galaxy S25 series and other high-value products contributed to the company’s 21.7% increase in net profit for the quarter.
Samsung typically provides hints about upcoming products during its earnings call. The company will also introduce an AI-focused Galaxy Tab S11 lineup, as well as a redesigned Galaxy Watch.
There is no surprise that Samsung will release a new flagship tablet in 2025 as well. Due to the company’s focus on Galaxy AI across its flagship devices, it is not surprising that the tablet will also focus on AI.
The conference call also mentioned “a new Galaxy Watch with an innovative design and enhanced health-related features.” According to Samsung, its wearables will focus on artificial intelligence and health.
Samsung is reportedly developing the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic. Samsung must believe that this redesign is significant enough to highlight it during the conference call, but we don’t know what it may entail.
With the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge and the expansion of Awesome Intelligence features on the Galaxy A series, Samsung also shed light on its mobile strategy moving forward. To explore growth opportunities, it will also focus on new product categories like XR.
