Poco has officially confirmed that it will introduce the Poco M8 in India on January 8 at 12 PM local time.
According to the company, the Poco M8 is “built for a new generation of users who seek performance with standout aesthetic” and is meant to bring a new, design-focused approach to the mid-range smartphone space in India.
While Poco hasn’t shared the full specifications yet, it has revealed that the M8 will be just 7.35mm thick and weigh 178 grams. The brand is calling it the “slimmest and lightest” device in its category.
A promotional image shared by Poco also teases the phone’s look. The Poco M8 appears to feature a curved front display and a squircle-shaped rear camera module. The primary camera will use a 50MP sensor, though exact details about the rest of the camera setup are still under wraps.
Poco says the M8 is designed to “redefine design and durability standards in its segment,” but we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to see everything it offers.
