With a newly leaked early build, we now know what another feature Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 will include: AI-powered notification summaries.
This feature has been added to the latest leaked One UI 8.5 build, but it still does not work. It’s a self-explanatory feature – AI will summarise stuff in your notifications. As soon as you pull down the notification shade, you’ll see a pop-up explaining the feature. In Settings, you can enable or disable it.

You can choose which apps to exclude from notification summaries there. Currently, this feature does not function as intended, as all installed apps are listed by default and cannot be removed. However, it is clear that this is still a work in progress and should be addressed before the release of One UI 8.5.
In One UI 8.5, you can also double-tap the back of your phone to perform an action or launch an app, a feature that has been possible on Samsung devices but only through the Good Lock app.
