The Realme 15x is the latest member of Realme’s 15 series.
Realme 15x 5G:
The new Realme 15x 5G will sport a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD with 144Hz refresh rate support. With Smart Touch support, users can operate the phone with wet and oily hands, while wearing gloves, or even encased inside a waterproof case.
The same old MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC powers Realme 15x 5G. It is coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space. It also gets a microSD card slot.
The Realme 15x 5G will feature a 50MP primary sensor, paired with another unspecified sensor, and an LED flash. A 50MP OmniVision OV50D40 selfie shooter is placed under the waterdrop notch. The Realme 15x 5G will feature a 7000 mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. It will run on Android 15 OS with Realme UI 6.0 on top.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE/5G and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, Wifi, NFC, and USB Type-C port. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM Radio, and 3.5 mm audio jack. It will also come with an IP69/IP68 rating making the device dust & water-resistant.
The Realme 15x 5G boasts a shockproof construction with an impact-absorbing frame and an ArmorShell Tempered glass screen. Additionally, Realme claims it meets the MIL-STD-810H standard for military-grade shock resistance. Realme 15x is actually IP66, IP68, and IP69-rated, but its Pro version includes IPX6, IPX8, IPX9, and exceptional water resistance capabilities outside the current standards.”
In addition, Realme claims that the Realme 15x is protected against 36 types of liquids between 0°C and 85°C, but it hasn’t shared a list of them.
There are also several AI-powered camera and photography features included in the Realme 15x, including AI Landscape, AI Eraser, AI Ultra Clarity 2.0, AI Glare Remover, AI Motion Deblur, and AI Image Matting.
Pricing:
The phone comes in three colour options – Aqua Blue, Marine Blue, and Maroon Red. The Realme 15x with 6GB/128GB cost Rs.16,999/- and 8GB/128GB at Rs.17,999/- in India. As part of its launch sale, it is now available on Flipkart, realme.com and in offline stores.
