The iQOO 15, the company’s newest flagship gaming phone, was introduced in China. It offers several improvements over the iQOO 13 and now features the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
iQOO 15:
The iQOO 15 arrives with the 6.85-inch 2K+ (3168×1440p) Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED flat display on the front. It comes with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz and HDR10+ support. The display also features a whopping 6000 nits of peak brightness. This time, the device also features a single-point Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The iQOO 15 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x Ultra Pro RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 4.1 storage space. According to iQOO, the gaming processor Q3 supports seven official titles with native super-resolution and super-frame, delivers the only real 2K gaming quality in the industry, and can play 2K+144 FPS simultaneously.
With 200 million nano-graphene oxide particles, the iQOO 15 boasts the biggest 8000mm single-layer VC in the industry and increases heat dissipation efficiency by 5%. The screen and battery are constructed from two layers of high-thermal-conductivity graphite, with a heat transfer area of more than 14,000 mm² and a thermal conductivity of 2000W/m · K.
The device will come with a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor coupled with gimbal stabilisation. There is a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide with f/2.2 & 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens (f/2.46) with 3x optical zoom & OIS. It also supports a massive 100x digital zoom.
There is a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The new iQOO 15 will pack a 7000 mAh battery with a whopping 100W fast wired and 40W wireless charging. It runs on Android 16 OS with OriginOS 6 on top.
It comes with stereo speakers that support Hi-Res Audio. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, NFC, IR Blaster, 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and a USB-C port. The device also gets an IP68/69-rated & extra-large X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback.
Pricing:
The iQOO 15 comes in Lingyun, Legendary Edition, Track Edition, and Wilderness colours. iQOO 15 with 12GB/256GB costs 4199 Yuan (Rs.51,800/-), 16GB/256GB at 4499 Yuan (Rs.55,400/-), 12GB/512GB at 4699 Yuan (Rs.57,900/-) and 16GB/512GB at 4999 Yuan (Rs.61,500/-). Lastly, the massive 16GB/1TB will cost 5499 Yuan (Rs.67,900/-).
