Following the launch of the Pulse Pro in April of last year, HMD is currently developing the Pulse 2 Pro, its successor. Key phone characteristics, such as the battery and chipset, have been leaked. A render of the phone also reveals an intriguing look, with the camera module perhaps taking inspiration from Apple’s iPhone 17 series.

The camera assembly of the purported Pulse 2 Pro combines components from the Pro and regular iPhone 17. Reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro models, the dual-camera setup is housed in a raised pill-shaped section, while the assembly itself is housed in a raised squircle-shaped section. It’s interesting to note that, compared to the original Pulse Pro, the camera bump appears to be significantly higher.

HMD Pulse 2 Pro:

The new HMD Pulse 2 Pro features a 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Unisoc T615 SoC powers it, and it is available in 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.

The HMD Pulse 2 Pro features a dual camera with a 50MP primary sensor. It comes with a secondary 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. It features a 50MP selfie shooter.

The connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE support, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS, and GLONASS, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 20W charge support. The HMD Pulse 2 Pro runs on Android 15 OS. Furthermore, the device is also splash-proof, thanks to its IP54 certification. The device measures 8.55 mm thick and weighs 196g.

Twilight Purple, Midnight Black, and Glacier Green are reportedly the three color options available for the phone. Regretfully, the tipster did not disclose a launch date.
