It’s not quite a smartphone, but more intelligent than a feature phone, according to HMD. With its cloud-hosted browser apps, the HMD Touch 4G is essentially a reincarnation of the Nokia Asha series.

The HMD Touch 4G is currently exclusive to the Indian market and runs RTOS Touch, a lightweight real-time operating system. Using the Cloud phone service, users can access the aforementioned browser apps. Express Chat is also pre-installed on Touch 4G, which supports text, voice and image messaging. If they have the app installed, Touch 4G users can also chat with users of Android and iOS devices.
A Unisoc T127 chipset powers the phone and has 64MB of RAM. You get 128 MB of internal storage, but you can expand it up to 32GB with a microSD card. USB-C is used to charge the 1,950 mAh battery.
The Touch 4G is also equipped with IP52 ingress protection, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi (802.11n) connectivity. In addition to being a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, the HMD Touch 4G comes in Cyan and Dark Blue colors.
HMD India has set the price at INR 3,999, and the device is now available for purchase.
