The second half of 2025 will see the release of the AirPods Pro 3, according to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Although Kuo didn’t state it directly, it is quite probable that the new headphones will be included in the iPhone 17 announcement event.
The AirPods Pro 3 may appear at the upcoming iPhone 17 announcement, similar to how Apple debuted the Pro 2 alongside the iPhone 14.
Additionally, according to Kuo, Apple intends to start producing AirPods with infrared cameras in large quantities in 2026. Compared to the AirPods Pro 3, this update is anticipated to be more significant and may cost more.
