Samsung’s smartphone journey is anticipated to reach a major turning point with the Galaxy S26 series. The tech behemoth recently revealed its intentions to restructure its flagship portfolio, substituting a single Galaxy S26 Pro for the basic and Plus versions taken together. The Pro will be part of the portfolio, along with the Galaxy S26 Edge and S26 Ultra.
Although a lot of information regarding the Galaxy S26 Ultra has previously been leaked or rumoured, details about the other two versions are now beginning to surface. According to the Dutch website Galaxy Club, the Pro and Edge variants in the series are expected to have larger batteries.
According to this leak, the Galaxy S26 Pro will have a 4,175mAh battery rather than the 4,300mAh that was announced. If accurate, the 4,000mAh battery that was previously shown on the regular Galaxy S25—with which the S26 Pro is anticipated to share dimensions—would be a little improvement.
A larger battery is also rumoured to be coming to the Galaxy S26 Edge. It is estimated that the S26 Edge will contain a 4,078mAh pack, which will be marketed as 4,200mAh, in contrast to the 3,900mAh battery on the original Edge design. The two models’ charging speeds are not disclosed in the paper, though.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, on the other hand, is anticipated to keep the same 5,000mAh battery but include 60W fast charging.
