Apple was managed to postpone the unavoidable price increases on its products, keeping the iPhone 16 family phones at their original pricing despite Trump’s tariffs on items created outside of the US. The iPhone 17 is set to change that, though.
According to a market expert, Apple plans to increase the price of nearly all of its models by $50 in the US. Accordingly, the cost of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will be $1,049 and $1,249.

Predicting the price of the rumoured iPhone 17 Slim is challenging since it lacks a direct comparison model in the current iPhone 16 range. However, most people expect it to replace the iPhone 16 Plus at a similar price point. The 17 Slim will probably sell for $949 if that is the case.
The vanilla iPhone 17 is the only model in the series that will not be affected by the rumoured $50 price increase.
The expert claims that import taxes and the growing cost of specific components are the leading causes of Apple’s pricing increases. In any event, given that the iPhone Pro, for instance, has been available for $999 in the US since 2019, it was inevitable at some time.
