Samsung hasn’t finished yet, but it has already released four variants of its Galaxy S25 series. Additionally, the business plans to release a Galaxy S25 FE in the upcoming months.

This year, it has prioritised smaller smartphones, and the Galaxy S25 FE is likely to demonstrate this. According to rumours, Samsung is planning a significant update that will make the Fan Edition gadget thinner.

According to South Korean publications, Samsung is reportedly planning to use flexible OLED display panels for the Galaxy S25 FE. Flexible OLED panels, which are distinct from foldable OLED panels, do not utilise rigid substrates like those used in Samsung’s earlier rigid OLED panels for FE models.

Flexible OLED screens are a feature of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S phones. A notably smaller Galaxy S25 FE might be the consequence of the thinner displays, along with improvements made elsewhere. According to rumours, the smartphone is 7.4 mm thinner than its predecessor, which was 8.0 mm.

The 6.7-inch display of the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to feature reduced bezels, according to a recent report. On a device that aims to deliver a near-flagship experience at a reasonable price range, this should result in a more luxurious user experience.

Samsung should be able to further differentiate the device from some of the better Galaxy A versions with these upgrades. Since Samsung’s Unpacked presentation later this week is focused on the new foldables, it seems unlikely that we will see this gadget there. This year, the Galaxy S25 FE is anticipated to be released in September or October.
