The K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, which Oppo will release on July 21, will feature an integrated active cooling fan in addition to IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance.
According to a recent Chinese rumour, OnePlus is closely examining the actions of its sister brand and may choose to appropriate the distinctive pairing of the K13 Turbo range. Similar to Oppo’s K13 Turbo devices, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is rumoured to have both a cooling fan and remarkable water resistance.
Given that the Ace 5 Ultra launched in May and that its successor is likely to arrive around the same time (or a month earlier) next year, OnePlus may make a decision soon. As of right now, at least that’s the impression we’re getting.
The rumour’s source claims that numerous other companies are now testing built-in fans for upcoming smartphones, suggesting that this could be the next big thing coming out of China and possibly making its way to flagship stores.
