OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 15R on December 17, 2025, with India among its key markets. A new leak has outlined what to expect in terms of storage variants, pricing, and core features.

Storage Variants and Expected Prices

In India, the OnePlus 15R is tipped to arrive in two configurations, both featuring 12GB of RAM:

  • 12GB + 256GB
  • 12GB + 512GB

The 12GB + 512GB version is rumoured to cost more than ₹52,000, putting the 12GB + 256GB model in the ₹47,000–₹49,000 band. OnePlus is also expected to bundle launch-day bank discounts of around ₹3,000–₹4,000, which could bring the effective prices down for early buyers. Final figures will be confirmed at launch.

Colours and Companion Devices

The OnePlus 15R is likely to be offered in Black and Green, with an Ace Edition rumoured in Purple. On the same day, OnePlus is also expected to launch:

  • OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet (India and global markets)
  • OnePlus Watch Lite (primarily for Europe)

Camera and Key Specs

The 15R will feature a 32MP front camera with autofocus, touted as the most advanced selfie camera on an R-series phone. It supports 4K 30fps video, an upgrade over the 16MP, 1080p selfie camera on last year’s OnePlus 13R. OnePlus is also using its DetailMax Engine to enhance image quality.

Other confirmed specs include:

  • 1.5K display with 165Hz refresh rate
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset
  • 7,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging
  • OxygenOS 16 with a new Plus Key feature
  • 50MP main rear camera with 4K 120fps recording
  • IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance

With these specs and aggressive launch offers expected, the OnePlus 15R is shaping up to be a strong contender in India’s upper mid-range to premium segment.
