Xiaomi is preparing to launch more tablets under its Redmi sub-brand. A new teaser reveals the Redmi K Pad’s display size, a new small flagship tablet on the horizon. Let’s take a look. We also get to see its design in a new and refreshing hue.
The Redmi K Pad, an 8.8-inch LCD tablet, was only a teaser for the Chinese tech giant’s next tablet. This panel features a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 3K resolution. A standard tablet often has a bigger screen, even if this isn’t very little. However, tablets with 8-inch display panels have been more popular recently. The most recent company to provide such a device is Xiaomi. The front of the Redmi K Pad features an 8.8-inch screen with a substantial bezel around it.
A single rear camera with an LED flash module is on the back. The recent teaser shows the new tablet in a light purple hue, whereas the earlier teasers showed it in a light green tint. This tablet is a little powerhouse because of its high-end technology, which was highlighted in a recent GeekBench ranking. It has 16GB of RAM and the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC built into the motherboard. Additionally, this device will come pre-installed with the Android 15 OS.
After the launch event later this month, Xiaomi China CEO Lu Weibing will give further information on the REDMI K Pad, REDMI K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, and other products in a live broadcast on June 18 in China.
