Digital Chat Station leaked last month that one of the OnePlus Ace 6 series phones will have a Snapdragon 8-series chip and a 7,800mAh battery. The Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro are expected to launch in China before the end of the year. The tipster is back with new information about an Ace 6 phone.
According to DCS, the latest leak may be in the OnePlus Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro. The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro had similar specifications except for the chipset, battery, and camera setups. The Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro may follow a similar approach. The Snapdragon 8 Elite may power the Ace 6, while the Ace 6 Pro may be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
According to the leak, the Ace 6 / 6 Pro will have a 6.83-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8-series chip will power the device, and its battery will be larger. The middle frame will be metal, but it has not yet been confirmed whether it will be IP68-rated.
As with the Ace 5 series, the Ace 6 Pro may not be released outside of China. In other markets, the modified version of the Ace 6 might be called the OnePlus 15R.
