Recent reports suggest Samsung is pursuing a sleek design, which will benefit its 2026 flagship phones. In addition to its impressive thinness, the Galaxy S26 series offers a nice camera zoom upgrade.

According to Ice Universe on Weibo, the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus have remarkably thin profiles, measuring around 6.x mm thick. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to shed some significant millimetres, with a projected thickness of approximately 7.x mm. The Galaxy S25 Ultra measures a more substantial 8.2 mm. The standard S25 and S25 Plus measure 7.3 mm and 7.2 mm, respectively. It’s noticeable that the entire lineup has been reduced in size.

But the possibilities don’t end there. The Galaxy S26 series is rumoured to have an improved 3x telephoto lens. This lens could, however, move up to 12MP, a welcome upgrade. For every model in the S26 family, this increase in megapixels should translate directly into sharper, more detailed zoomed-in photos. We hope the sensor gets other improvements, such as a larger aperture or size.
