Samsung seems committed to bringing its innovative folding technology to a broader audience. For months, there has been talk about a more affordable clamshell-style foldable. A leaked price has been revealed for the device, which has been referred to as Galaxy Z Flip7 FE and Galaxy Z Flip Xe.

The “Fan Edition” of Samsung’s Z Flip series has not been officially announced. According to recent reports coming out of Korea, the Galaxy Z Flip FE could be priced at around 1 million Korean won (Rs.63,500/-).

Assuming this pricing is accurate, the Galaxy Z Flip FE would be considerably cheaper than the current flagship models. Many could finally reach a tipping point.

Leaks have revealed some interesting details and specifications about the Z Flip FE. There will be some compromises. By charging less, Samsung aims to maintain a high-end user experience. On the other hand, the Z Flip FE will use an Exynos 2500 chip instead of a Snapdragon chip. It appears that the latter will be pretty powerful on paper. The real test is how well it performs in the real world. There will also be only two colors available from Samsung.
