The Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are expected to be introduced at Samsung’s next Unpacked event in New York in early July, but a new rumor contradicts that. According to a tipster on X, the event will actually take place in mid-July.
There is no exact date to speak of. According to the same source, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have better cameras, larger screens, and “better stamina.”
A few days ago, Samsung started teasing a bunch of “Ultra” features, which led us to think it would also launch an Ultra version of the phone. However, that prediction has been debunked.
All of those “Ultra” features will come at a premium. At this rate, it is unclear if foldable smartphones will ever become more affordable.
Even though its launch is not ideal – Snapdragon 8 Elite’s successor will be announced in late September, only two months after Fold7’s sales begin – the Fold7 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
