Oppo launched the Find X8 Pro in October, and its successor is likely to arrive around the same time. We now hear that the Find X9 Pro will feature a significantly different camera setup compared to its predecessor.
Rumours from China suggest that the Find X9 Pro will have only three rear cameras, compared to the X8 Pro’s four. You probably won’t be surprised to learn that there will be only one periscope, featuring a large 200MP sensor.
Currently, most Chinese phones use Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor; however, it does not seem likely that this will remain the same sensor. According to Oppo, this sensor will eliminate the need for two separate periscope cameras.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC will power the Find X9 Pro, which is in line with its predecessor, which used the Dimensity 9400. In February, we heard that the Find X9 series would include four models: the Find X9, Find X9+, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9 Ultra. All of them will have flat screens, with the Find X9 having the smallest screen size, similar to the Find X8s.
