OnePlus appears to be preparing to launch its Nord 5 series of smartphones soon. Nord CE 5 has been approved by UAE’s TDRA certification platform. According to the listing, the phone’s model number confirms the launch date but does not provide any technical details.
According to the TDRA listing, the OnePlus Nord CE 5’s model number is CPH2719. The certification itself did not provide further details, but the listing suggests the launch could take place soon. As it succeeds last year’s Nord CE 4, it could launch next month (May).
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 Lite may not launch this year.

OnePlus Nord CE 5 leaks and industry reports indicate it will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The Nord CE 5 may feature dual rear cameras, including an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The front-facing camera will feature a 16MP resolution.
The device might be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset and feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In addition, it is expected to have a 7,100mAh battery and 80W fast charging capability. Powered by OxygenOS 15, the device will run Android 15. The device is likely to be priced under Rs 25,000.
