Following speculation, Samsung has confirmed that its Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in San Jose on January 22nd, 2025. The event is set to unveil the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones.
Despite rumours about a Galaxy S25 Slim variant, it is anticipated to be briefly teased after the upcoming event, with a full launch scheduled for a later date.
Samsung has initiated pre-reservations for the phone in India through the Samsung India Store. Customers can secure their reservation with a payment of Rs. 1999. According to Samsung, those who pre-book the phone will receive benefits valued at Rs. 5000.
While the specific launch date and pricing in India remain undisclosed, Samsung has indicated that pre-reservations will remain open until January 22nd, 2025, or until pre-booking officially begins.
To pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy device from Samsung, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Samsung India Website: Go to the website and click on the “Pre-reserve” button to add the “Next Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass” to your cart.
- Payment: Pay Rs. 1999 using any of the available prepaid payment methods.
- Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive the Next Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass via email and a message on your registered mobile number.
- Welcome Email: A welcome email will follow, detailing the benefits of your pre-reservation.
- Purchase: When the next Galaxy device becomes available for purchase on samsung.com, use your coupon to buy it and enjoy the pre-reserve benefits.
- Discount Application: During the payment for your new Galaxy device, the purchase value will be reduced by Rs. 1999, which is the amount you initially paid to pre-reserve.
- Coupon Validity: If the coupon is not used by the end of the pre-booking period, it will be automatically cancelled, and the pre-reserve amount refunded to the original payment source.

The images showcase the S25 trio in an “Icy Blue” colour, a translation from German, and feature the phones encased in Samsung’s official silicone cases.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will also have cases equipped with a magnetic ring similar to Apple’s MagSafe, facilitating wireless charging. With the unveiling of the Galaxy S25 lineup just two weeks away, more information is expected to be released soon.
